Aufgabe: Löse folgende quadratische Gleichung:
$ x^2 +12 x +36 = 0 $
Lösung:
$ x^2 + 12 \cdot x + 36 = 0 $
PQ-Formel: Es gilt p = 12 und q = 36
$ \Leftrightarrow x = {-{12} \over {2} }\pm \sqrt{\left({{12} \over 2}\right)^2 - 36} $
$\Leftrightarrow x = {\tfrac{(-12)}{2} }\pm \sqrt{\tfrac{{144}} {4} -36} $
$\Leftrightarrow x= {-6 }\pm \sqrt{36 -36}$
$\Leftrightarrow x= {-6 }\pm \sqrt{0} $
$\Leftrightarrow x= {-6 }$
Die quadratische Gleichung hat also nur eine einzige Lösung.
